About Us
Omkarnath Sebaashram Trust is a collaborative effort of hundreds of devotees engaged in various forms of humanitarian and social service activities that aim to serve millions of men, women and children empowering them towards a promising future. One of the traditional lilakshetras of Anantashree Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath Dev, Rupnarayanpur near Asansol in West Bardhaman district, West Bengal has a set of schemes initiated by Omkarnath Sebaashram Trust. By the divine will of Anantashree Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath Dev and the blessings of Sanghacharya Kinkar Vitthal Ramanuja Maharaj, the Omkarnath Sebaashram Trust has undertaken a series of schemes for various social works. In this Sitaram Lilakunja, there will be an idol of Anantashree Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath Dev, Natmandir, School, Gurukul (to keep the Vedic tradition alive) and Oldage Home. The plans have been undertaken to complete in 3 (three) phases. Already 7 (seven) bighas of land has been acquired in Rupnarayanpur of Asansol for implementation for the project. This land has been determined adjacent to Indian Oil Corporation’s 60 (sixty) feet wide road on one side and Rupnarayanpur Bus Stand on the other side.
Features
We have planed for many social works as our main features in Omkarnath Sebaashram. The Omkarnath Sebaashram Trust has undertaken a series of schemes for various social works. In this Sitaram Lilakunja, there will be an idol of Anantashree Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath Dev, Natmandir, School, Gurukul (to keep the Vedic tradition alive) and Oldage Home.
Objective
Omkarnath Sebaashram Trust’s objective is to relieve poverty by imparting a unique blend of traditional values of art, culture, and science. The main objective of this organisation is to propagation of Shree Naam Mahamantra, Striving to carry forward the teaching of Shree Shree Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath Devji and Sanatan Hinduism. To endeavour to provide due service to all the Mathas and Temples founded by Shree Shree Thakur which are in dilapidated condition. Free arrangements for Upanayana ( Thread Ceremony) of destitute Brahmin boys and marriage of marriageable daughters irrespective of caste.
